Important Booking Terms for Speaker secretaries.

 

Please take time to read these terms

Thank you very much for your interest in the talks I present and a potential booking. Prior to making a booking please note that talks by Gemstone Talks UK are often booked many months, if not years ahead. Our talks can be cancelled ‘free of charge’ within the first one month (cooling off period) of a confirmed booking date. After this month our talks can be rescheduled if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances on behalf of the booking group but I would ask for at least a minimum two month notice from the date of the booked talk and a suitable reschedule date offered that suits both parties.

 

Cancellation terms.

1. Should a talk be cancelled after the initial one month ‘cooling off period’ but before the pre stated two month minimum notice without an option to reschedule there will be a non refundable administration fee charge of£40.00 made and payable immediately upon cancellation. 

 

2. Should a talk be cancelled within the minimum two month notice period as specified above there is a £50.00 non refundable administration fee charged and payable immediately upon cancellation.

 

3. Should a talk be cancelled at ‘very short notice‘  stated as within 10 days  of the specified attendance date there is a £60.00 cancellation fee charge made and payable immediately upon cancellation.

Finally, the reason for these cancellation fees is that the booked and then cancelled talk dates result in loss of time, finance and more importantly an opportunity that could have been offered to another group.

 

I do hope these conditions are understood and acceptable.
